How To Play

What is Siko?

  • A wild and unpredictable card game where you’re trying to either play all your cards first or be the last one standing by elminating everyone else
  • You use action-packed cards to attack, defend, ghost, betray, and stack action cards on your friends

Game Setup

  • Shuffle the deck, deal 7 cards to each player
  • Place the remaining cards in a draw pile and flip one card to start the discard pile
  • Whoevers birthday is next, is the player who goes first; winner of the round starts the next game

Game Objective

  • Be the first to play all your cards, or be the last player standing

How A Turn Works

  • On your turn, play a card that matches the color, number, or action on the discard pile
  • If you can’t play anything, draw one card
  • If you can play that new card, play it, otherwise your turn ends

Callouts

  • When you have 1 card left, you must yell “Siko!” but if the other players catch you before you say it, you have to draw 2 cards
  • When you play your last card, yell “Siko Out!” and celebrate your victory with a crazy dance

Stacking Rules

  • Same-number cards can stack, regardless of color
  • Any matching action cards can stack, except Forced Draw
  • Draw cards stack across different values, but only if they are equal or higher
  • You can’t stack anything on top of a Siko card except another Siko and there are only 3 in the entire deck! (This card is powerful!)

Targeting Rules

  • When a player is hit with a Target +10 or Siko, the game continues with the next player after the player who was targeted

Elimination Rules

  • Elimination: If you reach 25 or more cards, you are out of the game.
  • Mercy Rejoin: The first player eliminated gets a 5-minute timer (10 minutes for larger groups) and can rejoin the game with 20 cards. This can only happen once per game
  • Life Saver Card: If you’re holding the Life Saver card when you get eliminated with 25 or more cards, you can instantly play it to bring yourself back into the game! Your hand is reduced to 24 cards, giving you one final shot at survival. There’s only one Life Saver card in the entire deck, and it can only be used once per game

Action Card Types

  • Draw +2 / +4 / +6 / +10: The next player must draw that many cards unless they stack a draw card of equal or higher value
  • Reverse Draw +4 / +10: Reverses the direction of the play and makes that player draw, unless they stack a draw card equal or higher value
  • Target +10: Choose any player to draw 10 cards; the game continues with the next player after the player who was targeted
  • Skip: Skips the next player’s turn
  • Reverse: Changes the direction of play
  • Forced Draw: You cannot play your hand, you must declare a color, then flip cards from the draw pile and show everyone until one matches the color you declared. Once you get that color, you keep all the flipped cards and your turn is over. Only blockable by Siko or Ghosted cards
  • Ghosted: Makes you invisible to any attacks. The effect passes to the next player instead. You cannot play this against a Siko card.
  • Skip Everyone / Go Again: Skip all players and immediately take another turn
  • Swap Hands: Trade your hand with anyone at the table
  • Rotate Hands 1x / 3x: Everyone passes their hand to the next person, once or three times, depending on the card
  • Drop’em: Discard every card in your hand that matches this card’s color leaving the Drop’em card on top. This is also stackable, if you have multiple Drop’em cards, you can drop each card in your hand with that matching color with them
  • Freeze’em: Target any player and freeze their next turn
  • Show Love: Choose a player and let them discard any 4 cards of their choice, the card on top is the new active color, the discarded cards hold no power.
  • Copy: Duplicates the card on top of the pile, unless it’s an active Forced Draw.
  • Spy: Choose any player and spy on their hand. They must reveal their cards and you can decide to keep it private or go public with the information

Siko Card

  • Siko (Standard Mode): A super rare card! The Siko card voids every regular card under it. Then you declare an action (except Life Saver) on a target player. The Siko Card enforces it verbally without becoming that card. The only way to fight a Siko card is with another Siko card and there are only 3 in the entire deck. Play continues to the next player after the target
  • Siko (Extreme Mode): Same as Standard, but the Siko card becomes the declared action and can be stacked or countered like a normal card
